Dr. Rob Butler has over four decades of experience in science and conservation that he uses to advise organizations and governments on research, conservation and human needs. Here is a summary of his biography:

·         Doctor of Philosophy from the University of British Columbia

·         Biologist and senior scientist in the Canadian government for 28 years

·         BC Program Scientist for Bird Studies Canada

·         President of the Pacific WildLife Foundation

·         Adjunct Professor of Biological Sciences at Simon Fraser University

·         Organized and co-chaired scientific conferences in the Americas, Europe and Asia
